I ran owned a restaurant for 8 years that barely paid back the sunk costs. The parallels with your trading experience, personal, emotional and economic, are remarkable. Especially how suppliers profit off those sold the dream of entrepreneurial success. You’ve written an excellent depiction of the real market dynamic that accounts for the dubious external froth of participant churn to skim profits otherwise unavailable according to classic market theory. The next frontier of economics will be the disclosure of such “externalities” as major factors, unaccounted for theoretical monsters, and tools of personal oppression. Thank you so much for sharing.
